Health Center Important Information

The Health Center follows the academic calendar and is closed when the college is closed. Our regular hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the last appointment scheduled at 4:00 p.m. During the winter break/J-Term and spring break, our hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Summer hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

First-Year and Transfer Students

Please note, prior to entering campus, the State of Connecticut requires proof of immunity for the following diseases:

  • Measles
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Varicella
  • Meningococcits ACW&Y

Additionally, Trinity College requires Trinity College highly recommends remaining up-to-date with COVID-19 vaccinations, Meningitis B and Tetanus vaccinations.

Billing, Insurance, and Financial Assistance

The Health Center operates on a fee-for-service basis, charging your Student Account for select prescription and over-the-counter medications purchased on-site and up to $20 for an initial complaint visit. There is no charge for follow up care. Although the Health Center does not charge insurance for charges submitted to Student Accounts, having your active insurance information on file is necessary for any services required outside of the Health Center (i.e., lab work or referrals to specialty care). For more information on how to submit charges to your insurance provider for reimbursement, please contact the Health Center.

Please be sure your current insurance information is uploaded to your student health portal and that you are aware of, and understand, your insurance plan specifics (i.e. deductibles, prior authorizations, or any requirements for care) so that we can promptly provide you with care.
